yes it can be done, look up indian adventures, they have engine mounts and headers for the swap...i made my own mounts and modified headers when i put my 400 in my 84 ta....you have to make a trans crossmember too....not to big of a job if you have alittle fabrication skills....if you have any other questions about the swap feel free to ask me...Billy......PS...look in the March issuse of High Perf. Pontiac, my 84 TA is in the Pavement pounders shootout

yes you can use an OD trans,...you will need an adapter plate, BOP engine to Chevy transmission, Jegs has them...you will also need to get a driveshaft made to the length you need, not a big deal....also, you may want to use the Jegster T-arm...it mounts to a pan the bolts in the trans tunnel, and allows any trans to be used. Your stock t-arm bolts to the tail of the transmission....also, if you use the Indian Adventures headers, they will not work with a th-350 trans....the headers are built around a th-400 trans so you may run into some clearance problems with 200 or 700r-4's.....hope all this mixed info helps you with your swap....Billy

It appears Indian Adventures has gone out of business.
