Default FS 1964 Pontiac LeMans GTO Tribute ONE OF A KIND

I'm considering selling my beloved Pontiac. I guess I'm officially selling it since I'm listing it here. The car is an EXTREMELY solid, a very nice car that gets the attention from the most discerning of car enthusiasts at all the local shows.

This car spent the first 50 years in North Carolina and needed very little body work when it was restored. The paint is a modern, Viper blue that is nearly flawless. The engine bay is meticulously detailed and perfect (ie, not a scratch on it). The interior is about perfect. It was entirely new when restored a few years ago.

Mechanically, the car is fantastic. It runs perfectly, starts every time even after sitting for weeks during off-season. The carb was built by Cliff and I have his customize P4B intake as well.

Full details on the build is below.

It runs super strong and never pings on pump gas and runs very cool.

The entire car has recently been gone through by Richie Hoffman before I took it to the track last year (where it ran flawlessly all day). I wanted it to be 100% safe. He upgraded the driveshaft to a custom unit with a Strange 1350 yoke, as well as put new front brakes on, wheel bearings, and just went over every detail he saw. That's when I had the full 1/2" stainless steel fuel line and RobbMc pump installed.

I have tons of pics both on this forum and off that I can share. I'm an honest, open book. The car is great for someone that wants to stand out from the crowd, cruise around or take it racing. It's light and fast.

I had it appraised when I first bought it, which was before I fully restored the engine compartment and did a lot of upgrades. It appraised then for $32,000 (I can share the appraisal with buyer, along with years worth of receipts and hundreds of pictures documenting all restoration work.)

I'm open to offers. I'm thinking of starting at $27,500.

Thanks. I'm thinking of going modern muscle for a change. Don't hate me, and maybe it was a moment of weakness last night, but I've got my eye on a GT350.

Modern muscle is certainly got some creds. I love my car and would not be selling it but for the storage space. It's just about perfect and I have a lot invested in making it right. No expense spared kind of stuff. ie, I did not need that new driveshaft, but I wanted strong, safe and reliable. That sort of thing.

It's got a LOT of activity on ebay for day one!

SOLD.

I will miss working on the old Goat, but for now, I'm going new school muscle. I'm sure I'll be back for a 1968-1070 some day...

Adam, did it rally at the end or did you lower your reserve? It was at $19,600 forever

Edit, just saw Chrisps post. What a buy!
