Default Advance limiter bushing

It's for limiting how much MECHANICAL advance the distributor will achieve.

Most of the aftermarket advance kits have a replacement bushing made out of brass.

That's really a lot of grease.

Normally there is only grease on the outside of the mainshaft and the inside of the breaker cam assembly.

I don't know if it would make a difference, but it could sling grease all over the inside of the cap it there is too much.

Good luck!

That's the first thought that came to me.

I would also think about how much dirt is going to stick.
