Went to a track rental. As usual I couldn't get the stuff that I wanted to do done like leaning it out (was 10.4afr), lashing valves, plugs, and reset timing. Anyway, this was leaving off 4.5-5psi with 5° of timing pulled and ramping to 14psi. I made a mistake and had my timing 4° down from where I wanted it. I think it would have ran a 5.6x or better leaner with a couple degrees more timing. Idk. Not hateful for a little over 3,800lbs.

It's on 93 pump gas with 1,000ml of water/methanol.
Thanks!

Thanks! I spent some time with the suspension and cage this year. Got tired of spinning. It's starting to come around.

Yeah, let out at the 1/8. Would've gone 8.9x-9.0x in the 1/4.

I'm on pump gas. 93 octane and 1,000ml of water/methanol. It's a '71 455" 2 bolt block. Raceweight is about 3,830lbs. I made a mistake with the timing. I thought I had 38° in it for base timing but only had 34°. So I was pulling 11° for 27° but was actually at 23° because of the mistake. I checked timing before running and added 2° for my first pass for a 25° under boost. Got caught up in tuning the 60' and never did add more timing. Was planning on 28-29° at 14psi. Was also pulling 5° on the leave. Hope all that isn't confusing. Lol

Great run! I've not run at Clay City in years, always fun there.
