We had another conference call today with the foundry and the pattern maker. We are finally seeing some great progress after months of waiting. The early style intake base pattern is progressing nicely, and the top pattern common to both early and late model is nearly finished.

They expect to have the top pattern complete and to the foundry late next week so samples of the top can be poured. The pattern maker committed to sending progress pics as they move forward so I will keep the board updated with pics as soon as I receive them.

Here is a few to get started:

Thanks for the pics of the patterns in progress. It's a little confidence builder for everyone I am sure. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. Best of luck moving forward.

I have the dollars but even today assume every one of them is spoken for.

Only money we can’t take it with us. We have it enjoy it while we’re here. Our race tracks in N.E. have mostly disappeared so this is just money I would have broke at the track.

Can’t wait to see this. Told my wife we are going to need a bigger bed. LOL.

"Only money we can't take it with us."
Yeah, tell that to my wife, she keeps me out of financial trouble with my Pontiac as well as with our standard of living. "Bigger bed". LOL.
Can't wait to see the final product as well!

Cool

433lemans I only tell my wife about 10% of the$$ my Pontiac habit cost. If she knew what I actually spent on my cars or parts she definitely would have divorced me a long time ago. She is always keeping an eye on our finances. She saved up for two expensive college tuitions. I know I would not have the discipline. good thing I have her to check me once in a while but I still make sure I can sneak in some of the hot set ups that we need like this intake. If I die she probably will sell it all for $500 and feel like she got fair money back deal. So be on lookout for big sale one day.

Lol.
I will make it a goal to live long enough to partake in that sale, with your intake in mind especially lol, while grieving for a lost Pontiac brother of course! JK
