Deadhead....good eyes. I bought that hood scoop back in the early 70's at the Englishtown Flea market and put in on the car when I was in high school. Paid $5 for it and it included the lights, wiring and all the fastening studs. Back then I used an air cleaner on top of a velocity stack (w/4 barrel setup) that extended above the hood into the scoop. Now it has a tripower and I just love that scoop with the lines it has. Lights still function too. I have a spare hood just in case I want to revert back to original look. I recently priced another scoop at the Daytona swap meet and they wanted $400 for the complete set-up.

GnXRanch-good to see a fellow Floridian posting here. While not normally a four door fan it is hard to beat the looks/style of yours with the windows down. I like that roof line.

Thanks 66bonne, I really am a 65 2dr HT fan, but this on was a sweet deal that followed me home one day. Now if I could just find a great project like rknrl69 has there. Hmmmmmm (lost in a day dream)....
But you know how hard 65's are to find especially around central Florida.

Ziggy-

I will never forget that car! For everybody who has not owned or driven one - there are two directional signal marker lights on each corner of the hood scoop facing the driver. In that car that is about eye level. I bought that '69 Mustang FB in '83 when I was 16 & I thought those lights were the coolest thing ever. Of course, I had just gone from a '65 Bug to a 302 3 speed Positraction 4:10. Got a ticket for 85 (down from 110) and lost my license 4 days after getting that car. Sold it a month later & drove my grandfather's '66 black 2Dr Bonne pictured earlier home from FL. Went Pontiac & never looked back.

Our 62 Cat, finally got the correct short fin 8 lugs on it. My wallet is now $2000.00 lighter, don't tell my wife though, she thinks someone stole the hubcaps.
