Please allow me to chime in to help;
if my memory serves me these have two applications:
1) factory install for cars with rear speakers; 1973-1981
2) GM aftermarket rear speaker add-on; 1970-1981

The 1970-1972(?) cars with rear speakers had a rear dash with a perforated top layer of vinyl (think 'comfortweave');
After 1972 the cars all received a plain rear dash cover, but cars with the rear speaker had one side cut out for these covers.

These are (to the best of my knowledge) not reproduced, and they were tough to find - twenty years ago.

Grill pattern was changed in 80 or 81.

oh?

Ok, thanks for the correction.
(would happen to have any picture(s) you could share of the 80/81 rear speaker grilles?)
