Default Firewall Markings for 62 Catalina

I am trying to figure out the marking right above the transmission tunnel, either it is 467 or 967. Not sure what it designates. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
John

Which plant was the car built in?

Do you see that number anywhere else (ie, on the radiator, hood, diff cover, inside the wheels, etc)?

My first guess is that it is the last three digits of the build sequence number.

My GTO was also built in Pontiac and is pretty much devoid of any markings.

]Here's my collection of firewall marking threads from the pickup truck forum:

Obviously it's a different product and build site but these should provide some food for thought.

Here's a thread that may be interesting:

1964 GTO

Check the markings on the last 2 pics.
