Default Cold Case Radiator fitment

I just removed the original 4-core MT radiator from my red 455 Judge to use in the RAIV car. It was replaced by a beautiful Cold Case MT replacement. I also removed the AC condensor since I do not have the AC hooked up at this time.
The Cold Case unit fit perfectly, but now I am left with gaps on either side of the radiator which were previously filled by the AC condensor. Will these gaps cause some loss of cooling efficiency, or should I fabricate some sheet metal filler panels until such time as I feel the urge to re-install a better AC system?

Default It won't really affect cooling

The engine fan works by creating a low pressure area behind the radiator, using the shroud and fan to pull the air through the radiator into that low pressure area, and then out past the fan and over and around the engine.

All the air that gets pulled through the radiator will still get pulled through the radiator, even with the gaps between it and the radiator support.
