Default NOS 69 Firebird headlamp plastic surrounds

Could anyone give me an idea of how much these are worth ? I have the pair, part number: 9784320 and 9784321, new never installed, just dusty and light scratches from being tossed around. I'll post pics soon.

Good question, I can't think of the last time I saw an NOS set, so obviously very rare. However I suspect that the original parts seem to be so durable and deterioration resistant that the value of used or even NOS ones may be lower than you'd think, this is indicated by the excellent used ones that are typically on eBay at low prices.

I agree. I have a set of 69 NOS surrounds in the GM box somewhere in pile of parts. Another reason I think these don't compare to other higher value NOS parts is the reproductions are pretty good. If you can't tell it's a repro once it's painted, then NOS really isn't required for a nice car.

I bought a set of NOS pieces like this recently for around or just slightly less than than the cost of the reproductions. As others have said, the repops are really very good and compare well.

What is really in demand and totally worth some money is the RUBBER 1969 Firebird surrounds as the reproduction pieces are terrible and don't line up at the crease. Now those NOS parts have a high value if you can find them.

These plastic pieces not so much.
