Default Sell now or wait till spring?

Submitted a car to BAT for their consideration last month and it was accepted.

From the time they accept a car to the time it gets assigned to one of their "specialists" it can be several weeks.
I just now got word the car is being reviewed to write up the ad and by the time it goes live we will be well past Thanksgiving.

Since the weather is turning here in the upper midwest and the upcoming holidays I am wondering if I should just wait until spring to go ahead with the listing.

Will it make a difference in the bidding I wonder? I don't have to sell immediately but who knows what next spring will bring as far as market conditions.........or am I overthinking it?

I think interesting/rare/exciting cars are always in season.

BAT is a national (or even international) market, so it's probably not affected as much as if you were just advertising locally.

I just sold a car on BaT last week. It was my first time using the site. It seemed to take a long time to get the auction ready, and I was concerned about the same things you are, that it would get late into the year, east coast and midwest buyers might not participate due to weather considerations, the MCACN show in Chicago, etc. Once the ad language was approved, the ad went live within a couple of days. Bidding was pretty slow at first, but it picked up at the end. In hindsight, I'm glad I used the site. I got a good price for the car, and it looks like the car is going to a good home.

Good luck with your auction.
