Anyway, I would like to have the car because of how much it weighs. I look at this thread everytime it pops up hoping it has sold so I wouldnt keep thinking about it. Good luck with the sale, it looks like a great race car. Do you think this car would be hard to handle with a lot more power because of the wheelbase? Would this car fit in a class so it can be used for something other than a bracket racer?

Do you need a motorcycle?

Jeff
Ya know, Rob has been trying to get me to paint the thing. I just would hate to paint it the wrong color. Might be able to deal in a paint job. Thanks for being honest!!!!!!! I wish more people would be, the world would be a better place.
Nope, sorry, I really don't need a motorcycle..

Oh yea, as far as going faster, I did run a few 6.12 through 6.15 in 1/8th, I know you are talking faster, but it was straight then. The car drives really good. It will spoil you.
I have no idea on the class thing.

Why does selling something have to be such a pain?

What size rear tires? What stall convertor would be good for a 675HP@6000rpm/625TQ@5000rpm 497cid engine? Does the powerglide have the T400 input shaft/splines? I am assuming the weight listed is less driver?

Thanks,
PHILLYGOAT

the market is dwindling for these rides..but folks are still out there..you have to make it easy for them, becuz the market is full..if you dont, somebody else will..ship me that biotch, and we can deal..looks to be true ten 5 legal, with just a ms funny cage..7.50 stuff..2165 lbs means lots of ballast, but thats ok..

The tires that are on it are 31X14's. It really didn't like those, I had 14.5X32 on it before. Just tried something different and it didn't work well.
I have no idea on stall thing. Sorry.
Weight listed, Tristate Dragway, Pontiac engine, Iron Heads, aluminum intake, No driver.
Powerglide, Honestly I can't remember which shaft is in car. I believe I have the other one unde bench, so I have both.

Actually there is a guy coming up from Texas today. Well I guess he is. We shall see tomorrow. He told me this morning he was heading this way. So today, the coldest day of the season, I got car out of trailer and removed my engine and torque convertor.

Did you tell him if he wanted to go real fast to put a Pontiac engine in it?

Glad you finally sold it, Steve.
