I have a very restorable '67 Tempest post coupe. It's powered by the 326 2bbl thru a 300 SuperTurbine 2spd auto. I've read enough of the postings to realize the TH400 tranny is a no brainer swap but what nobody seems to talk about is how to convert the steering column shift quadrant to reflect the PRNDSL positions. Can this be done? My car does not have a console (bench seat) so am I doomed to live with the 2spd? Any advice would be appreciated....thanx

the only change you should have to make is the prndl indicator. look around at a salvage yard for a replacement. mike
