Default 1970 Bonneville 2-dr coupe

1970 Bonneville 2-dr couple
57K miles on the odometer. It works and I'm pretty sure it's right.
Very original car with one repaint sometime in its past. Original carb, even had the original date-coded plug wires on it when I got it. Still have those in a box.
Bermuda Blue/black vinyl top/blue interior
455/auto
PW, PS, PB, A/C, remote trunk release, remote mirror, factory disc brakes, Rally's (also have original wheel covers)
Original interior. Driver's side arm rest is worn, original carpet is clean, but is slightly faded in places. A couple very small holes in headliner from sometime in its past, right by the visors. Aside from those two issues, interior is very nice.
Some documentation from new, PHS
Excellent condition mechanically; car will go anywhere. It must have been well taken care of throughout its life. Chassis, undercarriage, even under the skirts is all nice and dry.
I bought this car 2 & 1/2 years ago to drive while I worked on a 62 Bonneville. That one's done and I've got another project to work on, so I'm looking to sell this one. It's a great running and driving car, in a nice looking color combo. Give me a call for what I've done to it, or if you have any questions. I've got more pics, let me know what you'd like to see.

Asking $7800

Alan, do you know if this car came from Florida? I remember seeing a near identical one on the used car lot of the Pontiac dealership in Ft. Pierce. I caught my eye because I have a 70 Bonneville comvertible I have owned since 1979. Looks to be a real nice big car.

19grandprix64, Thanks. You're right, there aren't too many around that I've seen.

David, Well, what I do know is the car was sold new in Connecticut, and that's about all I know. I do know that it's been in Virginia for at least the last 6 years, because it was sitting in a garage when I found it. I believe it was purchased by the previous owner from either Virginia or very near here. Have no idea of its history after it left Conn. and ended up in Virginia. Maybe it did go to Florida. It's amazing to me the condition of the underneath of the car and the lower body panels and floors for a car that came from Connecticut. It's just nice and dry everywhere underneath, even under the skirts and rear wheelwells. Wherever it spent its life, it had to be stored indoors and not driven in any bad weather.

It is a nice car. It drives really well for it's size, and it's a nice color combo.

Alan

Man. I wish I could get rid of my Formula. I'd think about taking a trip down to look at that. Love 70 Bonnies.
