Default vintage brake booster question

I pulled this off the shelf today....for an exploratory...

I'm guessing 59-61 GM.....

The master was still attached......and it took some serious work with a big hammer and chisel to remove it.....(even after I took the bolts off...)

The inside was just loaded with that white powder.....

Was this somebody's cocaine stash...or just decomposed diaphragm.etc.?
