Default Torque Converter Question

What's the signs it maybe going bad? Thanks

Other then a ballooning condition that usually is not the converters fault, anything else that can go wrong with a converter means it's dumping trash back into the trans.

I would not run the motor or drive the car any more until you drop the tranny pan and look for crap in the pan and filter.

I had a stock one go bad at idle at a stop light, loud screech slight grind noise lost stall was almost direct drive after that, not far from home turned around returned to base shutting it down at stop lights

got a new converter dropped the pan saw glitter changed oil and filter put a few rare earth nagnets in the pan about 1 inch round .100 thick drove it for 4 or 5 days dropped pan cleaned magnets changed filter and drove many thousands of miles after that

You'll start seeing a drop in ET and MPH and probly notice that
it just doen't feel the same as before, it can start out lightly off
and start getting worst from there. like said before, check pan.

Stall speed getting erratic. I had one that laid over a bunch of fins. And only a 400 HP motor!
