Nice pass. Doing Pontiac proud. Looking at the mph I don't think he has that much left in it.

I studied the qualification sheet for a while. There were a few of the 50+ entries around 400 Ci In and a couple even smaller. But the really fast cars had Big, Big engines. Several over 900 Cu In. Chief is playing with the big boys and even a great car is really handicapped by the small size and the marginal cylinder heads. The car is running great for limited testing, a new car, and smallish engine. When he puts a full quarter mile pass on it he will be in the top 5 of that fastest ever list I think.
