gto bell housing
Need to know if pontiac made a different bellhousing for the 11'' clutch or are the bellhousings the same for 10.4'' and 11'' ?
Reason is I am installing a 11'' clutch in my 69 gto and don't know if I will have any clearance issues. What is the correct part # for 69 bellhousing? Thanks for info. |

Pontiac V8 bellhousings are all the same between '65 and the mid-'70s, at least. The part number starts with "9" and ends in "588" or something like it, IIRC. Any one you find like that will be a match for your car.

No worries....
Stock one will accept 11" unit. I use them exclusively. Ron
