Default repro spiral shocks..

Anyone have them on their cars? What do you all think of them? I heard they make the car ride very poorly, is that true? All my suspension was replaced a few years back all stock and even with modern shocks these cars don't ride terrific so is one sacrificing that much?

Your car will handle a lot better with aftermarket heavy duty shocks
than with the repro spiral shocks. The spiral shocks cause the car to float
up and down somewhat like the ride of a Cadillac Deville. If you like crisp
handling, stick with aftermarket heavy duty shocks. If you are showing in
points judging at POCI or GTOAA, you need the spiral shocks or you will lose points.
