Less than a week, and we'll be amongst many Pontiacs and acres of parts! After skipping 2020, there will be a huge turnout.

I hope to meet more of you face-to-face! Look for an old guy with a beige hat with PONTIAC on the front!

Just remember to bring hearing protection for the drag race area! There were a few there in 2019 with pets and babies with no protection--That is crazy.

I'll be hanging around with the Cammer Club at our Reunion display spot, stop over and say hello.

I'll be there too, first time bringing a car since 2005. I met Dick at the Dells a few weeks ago, hoping to meet a few more.

If you see a guy and his wife driving a black and gold, 2 seat, all terrain Go Kart that looks like a winged sprint car, but smaller, that would be my wife and me.

We're only going to be there on Friday due to having to attend grand babies first birthday party on Saturday.

Hopefully the thing will start up and run, it's been untouched, sitting in the backyard for 2 years now........

I always enjoy meeting people from the board, and talking Pontiacs wave us down if you're so inclined.

With all of the experienced attendees on this forum, would anyone be willing to make some suggestions on what a newbie to this event should expect? I know there will be a ton of cars to see and races to watch as well as a huge swap meet. Any vendors have special things that are nice to stop by and see that aren't advertised? I plan on arriving Friday afternoon and leaving Saturday evening.
Thanks in advance
Tony

For one, it's a huge opportunity to talk face to face with the movers and shakers....Butler, Kauffman, AllPontiac, Don Keefe, Arnie Beswick, etc. All of the heads-up racers are set on kill so this is the event to see Pontiac records broken.

There is just so much to experience. My feet use to get sore. I've since rented a golf cart, from local, Dornan carts. They are probably all spoken for. The 'whole' track area is filled, parts and cars! Ames has warm up carts in am with drinks and food and cool down carts in PM with drinks and food. Also they have 10-12 passenger carts that act like buses to drive you around, free. They have bus stops or if cart isnt full just flag them down. The people involved are great just good kind people. To us who eat downtown, I heard Berrys Restaurant was sold and not open now. Sooo need to find another.

Also in previous years event t shirts were available on the pit side only at guest services building, large building. I've heard this year that a event book featuring all the years will be offered on reserve, probably will be printed after this year I guess.

Weather may be the best in recent history for the show
Predictions are 70's with no rain possibilities until afternoon Sunday

I'll be in a Blue Edge in the swap meet, paved road close to the end timing lights
If anyone wants to stop by and talk

Selling valuable merchandise or in my wife's language - getting rid of stuff she is sick of tripping on.
(and if nothing sells because I spent more time just talking, I can state I really tried honey )

Damn, that is where I stayed for years! The only good reason I decided not to attend this year.
