Default First Time for Everything

I actually came up from the shop tonight after 3 hours of of quality time with the GTO .... and I didn't have a list of parts I need to order, I don't think that ever happened before

Maybe I didn't look hard enough. Maybe I'm getting close to being done. Maybe I made one of the wrong parts I ordered work. But the stars aligned and I will not have to get out the credit card tonight

"Maybe I made one of the wrong parts work". Using aftermarket stuff, ridiculous.

"I will not have to get out the credit card tonight". Tomorrow's another day.

When I look at what mine --> . Still waiting for the "first time" I don't do that.

Frank

I'm watching your posts and still trying to figure out why I am on year 23 of my project when it seems like you are on year 3 or 4.

Not fair...LOL.

Oh ... no no no ... I'm on year ... about 35. Covid just kicked things off for me and I got enough done in a year off from work to make me see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'd say the actual restoration started about 20 years ago, was in a sad state of storage for 15-20 years before that. So we are on about the same schedule.
