They are Canadian Pontiac fenders. I think that is a small market. But yes a rare find

the Canadian and US bodies/sheet metal were the same in 58 and 59, it was the drivetrains that were Chev., in Canada, maybe there were badging holes that were different?

for $20K ($750 per fender/ $600 USF) I think the seller will have a tough time selling in 1 lot, unless someone like Ames think they could make money on them?

I’m thinking those particular years aren’t popular enough to justify buying the entire lot.

Even at half that price it would be difficult to unload, even selling each fender individually.

If they were ‘68 -‘69 GTO or Le Mans fenders that’s a different story.

He's definitely looking for full retail on the entire lot.

Story in Pittsburgh years ago was a Pontiac dealership closed up. Left everything. Someone bought the property. Boarded up part of building. Yep inside there were old fenders when someone else bought the building. Heard it was true. Anything is possible.

He should probably advertise overseas as well, there may be some interest from people in Australia or Scandinavia. Trying to sell them all in a single lot will be difficult, though.

I watch YouTube videos from Irontrap Garage, it's a channel devoted mainly to traditional style hot rods but they also have been going out and picking parts from various locations around the country. They recently brought home a ton of NOS 1950s GM body panels - doors, trunk lids, hoods, fenders, etc. I could see some of it was for Pontiacs; I just checked their eBay listings and they selling some 1950-1952 fenders for $350 which seems more reasonable. https://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_ssn...ntiac&_sacat=0
