Default How about some pics of grey 63-64 Cat, Goat, Bonnies, ect.

I think I am going grey on the 63 Catalina even though Ill need to re do the whole interior. Any thoughts on color change and interiors? I have the ventura int. in red now, it could look good with grey paint but the red color will need to be changed a bit. I am a ways out on paint but I like to look at pretty cars in grey. The 63s seem harder to find parts for. Theres 64 stuff, and 62 stuff where is the 63 stuff? Suspension and interior seems the hardest to locate. Then theres the Slim Jim tranny. Am I going to hate this tranny if I put 400 hp to it? I would like to keep my matching #s. Someone must bulletproof this tranny? Whats there #? Cool Forum, I'll get project pics up at some point.

NO GTO"S they have their own forum.

about that tranny. 400hp is not going to happen. take it out keep it and put in a turbo 400. If that is not an option then get another car to put 400hp in .

Forget about the slim-jim, you'll never be happy with it. Go with a later block and newer transmission. Here's a pic of mine from a couple years ago:
