Default 73 sprint decal

Sorry I have been off of the computer for awhile. Ski season is now officialy over. My car is on its way home officially Monday. I will send you a link to the site a friend of mine made for me. I need to update some photos of the final build.
The decal was made to perfection and the colours were bang on. When I look a the car it doesn't look like anything has changed untill you crawl underneath.
The new photos will include the decal.
The house is built ,now I have to furnish it.HAHA
Still a few things to do once the car arrives.
Carb,wires,tires,sill plates.seats recovered,headers and exhaust.
I hope to have the car up and running by mid summer.
Check out this site.

SPRINTFRK73....

I have a question about one of the attachments that you posted a while back. It was a pic of the application instructs for the Sprint decals. Here is the link to the pic I'm talking about....
http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...entid=9329&d=0

I have a question. Would you be able to look at that pic if you still have the hardcopy and tell me what the measurements are regarding the rear deck lid 'Sprint' decal. It looks like 3.50" from the left side of the decal to the edge of deck lid, but what is it from the bottom of the decal to the lower deck lid edge?

The pic is kinda blurry there. As for the side decals, it looks like they're specify 1.68"??? Is that right?

The correct measurement is .68" from the bottom edge of the deck lid, the 3.50" is correct from the left edge to the left of the decal, the 1.68" is also correct from the bottom of the decal to the bottom of the lower edge of the stripe. Hope this helps...

That's really odd! 17/25ths of an inch from the lower edge of the rear deck. Time to get the digital caliper out! Thanks. This should be interesting sticking this decal on.

Sorry, 11/16ths...apply a piece of masking tape 11/16ths from the bottom edge and line the decal up with the edge of the tape. Stick it on.

11/16ths is .6875", and 17/25ths is .68". Man! .0075" is hard to imagine. I'm just going to use a caliper set to the .68". You would think they would have just used .50" for placement. Lots of oddities.

Default 73 SPRINT decal?

I have one NOS stripe for a Ventura SPRINT
I have been making auto graphics for about
20 yrs, kinda low key, many are very low volume
that no one else will bother doing.
If you guys want a few sets I can do them.

I would like to post prices on this site, but we are not allowed to do so. The decal I have produced for my car is exact.Over 20 hours of measuring and computer work to nail this to the original specifications. If the decal was not exact,I would not have applied it to my vehicle. The price may be higher for the decal due to the time it takes to run and the amount of work that went into making this decal .. This is why the big name graphic places have not produced this.To get the dimensions just right and the stripe widths ,it took a lot of time and measuring. If you notice on your original decal how the stripe starts out small, over the door gets wider ,and then narrow again, this took a lot of work. I have been in contact with alot of the big shops on the internet. Thier reasoning for not producing this decal,is there is no demand.6-8 inquies a year. They say they do not what to hold inventories on something that will not sell. Also the stripe that is produced for the other ventura ,is just a basic decal. This why I decided to tackle the reproduction of this decal.
The decal is exact in all dimensions and colour. I will try to get better photos posted to my web site so they can be seen.

Good luck.

I could use some info about 1973 spirit stripes. Not interested in the word "spirit" though. Is there some decal for the "V" on the hood and the front clip. I would love some in black. Who to contact or how much?

Default Sprint Stripe Locations and Part Numbers

Does anyone have the installation drawings for the side stripes like is shown for the deck lid SPRINT decal?

I also included a parts list for the 71-74's.

Thanks, Aaron
