Default What are the mini seat belts for?

I'm restoring a 1970 GTO convertible and I found all these seat belts. I know the Deluxe belt is on the left, the Standard belt is on the right, but what is the tiny belt in the middle used for? Back seat, front seat?
Also, how many belts in the rear seat, 2 or 3?
And while we are discussing 1970 convertible seat belts, was the shoulder belt option available on the GTO?

The shop manual shows one; it bolts to the top pivot mechanism then between the quarter armrest shield. It then goes over the top of the front seat and buckles to a separate belt.

I did this - https://forums.maxperformanceinc.com...d.php?t=849539

It use a retractable belt and works as a modern car does.

From the pivot mechanism then over the top of the FRONT seat? That would prevent any rear seat passengers from getting in or out.

I did not say it was a good solution.

Pretty much any newer ragtop that does not have seat mounted shoulder belts has this issue, including both of mine.

There was a plastic clip that held the shoulder belt when not in use. Where was that mounted?

smaller buckle is the standard deluxe receiver for Firebirds, and other non fullsize GM. What's the text on the rear, General Safety RCF-67?

I can't seem to find the 1/2" hole on the hinge bracket as described/pictured in image 1 above. The belt then goes behind the upper side trim panel and the quarter panel trim? And then what? This is a long belt. I have two plastic black clips that hold the buckles somewhere, but it's not shown.
Also, I am scavenging the 3 deluxe belts from the rear seat of my mmodified 1970 convertible and I will substitute 3 of the smaller firebird belts. I have the belts with the smaller deluxe buckles but not the corresponding belts with the clip ends. Has anyone used a vendor that can make them for me?

I think the 2nd diagram shows a F body hinge, not an A.

This is the A with a retractor mounted.

I found the hole, but I don't yet know if I can get to it without taking the whole armrest area apart. My belts are non-retractable.

In a related problem, I need 3 of the clip ends (male ends) to go with 3 of the smaller Firebird (2" x 1 7/8") buckles that I have for a modified car. Anybody ou9t there have extra clip ends?
