Default WTB 68 Firebird

1st car ever owned so looking to buy 68 Firebird preferably 400 4 spd. Not looking for a project or trailer queen but something in between, meaning solid car and driver. Prefer orig driveline and documents but will entertain others. Just need to understand what is out there. Appreciate any help/leads. Please PM any info on available cars
Thx

Plan on spending mid 20s to low 30s. My son just bought what you’re looking for, numbers matching 400-4spd car 66,000 original miles. Rust free two owner northern Montana car. Guy wanted $26,000 but took less because it was so far away.

Not exactly what you want, but in your price range.

A nice 400/4-speed will be higher, unless you luck across a super deal, either from a guy desperate for money or one who doesn't know what his car is worth.

I've also noticed that the cars are usually much cheaper if they do not have a 400 engine. So, you might wanna consider one with a nice body & a 350 Pontiac engine. If you want more power, you can have a 400 or bigger engine built, later.

Also appears that most of the 400 cars have TH400 trans. Might consider buying one of these, then have it swapped over to 4-speed manual at some later date.

Well, I don't know how many of these ads are still good. But, you can just Google 1968 Firebird for sale & find lots of ads.

Not good at posting pics, there’s one of it in the at the pumps thread. Buddy of mine sent me a link of it on Craigslist.

I have my '68 400 coupe for sale. A/T though. About an hour from Minneapolis. Stock, and numbers matching drivetrain.

Cleared some space. Did not realize it was full. I found that I had sent info via emails to you in Feb.
Let me know if any interest.
