Default 94 Canadian T.A.

Just traded my 71 pontiac lemans 350 for a 94 Canadian made trans am lt1. I was told it was kinda rare because it was made in canada. I was also told it makes 300hp vs the U.S. 270 because of less emission laws. Can anyone give me any info on it? and what could I do to make it faster. Right now it has an aftermarket muffler and a k&n cold air intake

Tons of stuff to do to make it faster. More for the LS cars but LTs have plenty in upgrades.

90% of the parts made for the 4th gen cars were made in Canada. I'm surprised that yours is as rare as it is.

No, the horsepower is the same on either side of the border for the LT1's.
