Did the 76' formula have an option for T/A exhaust tips? Anyone have an option list for this year or know where I can purchase it. Was there a Ram Air option with he Formula hood?

As far as I can tell, any bird ordered with the simulated dual exhaust got splitters. I have one picture, and its hard to make out, but I think I can see the splitters on the Formula.

I don't thnk the steel hoods ever came opened up. I did look at the bracing on a 76 hood years ago and seem to remember that it would be a real pain to try to make them functional due to the hood bracing.

Yes the Formula in 76 had the chrome splitters.
As far as I remember 74 was the last year for a Ram air option on the Formula...

I think 72 was the last year. I seem to remember reading that the hoods were closed for 73 to comply with the drive-by noise levels.
76 was the first years for split tip pipes. Mostly chrome, with some black chrome tips on SE/LE cars (not all of them due to supply problems).

76 Formula's came with chrome splitters. Not an option. Bought a new one with a 400 & 4speed in 76.
