Thought I'd revive this topic with some new scans I just did of my old pics...
The 1st one is of my very first car. 1969 GTO H/T, Auto bought here in Quebec. Unfortunately, I had to scrap it (after having swapped all interior and engine + salvageable parts in my current 69 GTO H/T 4 speed, as it had severe rust/rot in frame/body mounts). (circa 1982) 2nd pic is of me and friend heading off to our Friday night street races. (circa 1987) 3rd pic is of my current 69 GTO H/T before it got painted (had put fiberglass fenders and quarters on that car). (circa 1984) 4th pic is of GTO H/T after paint. (circa 1984) 5th is of GTO H/T in its initial stage of resto. (circa 1984)

here are 3 old pics from the early '70s when this car would have been fairly new, not my car, wish it was! If that was my wedding, I wouldn't have been able to concentrate on the ceremony knowing my convert. was being decorated like a cake

No kidding! I'm betting it is one of the real ones. Very cool photo. Is this one identified on the list that is posted here on the forum somewhere?

Looks like race prep was: Put the slicks on, unbolt the exhaust,
(and hope the pipes didn't fall down ) |
