Wow that's an interesting picture! I had to replace the original Judge trunk lid with one from a lemans that had the PONTIAC emblem on it. Should be barely visable on the bottom picture.

Reality was the 2x4 to hold the trunk open because when the deck lid went up, the quarter panels would spread open and the trunk rods would pop out of the slots! It weighed about 3 pounds when I was done cutting it apart. When the truck came to cart it to the yard the guy took back the offer of paying me $20 for a 68 GTO and made me pay HIM $20 for taking it!

Oh my lord, what year was this picture taken? Poor GTO, at least you gave it a noble funeral! These are great pictures, FEbjudge's post is sweet! Please keep them coming.

That picture is summer of 88. about 2 months after I bought the car with a "fresh rebuild" on the original motor. The heads, 4spd, endura and hood live on in my 69 convertible!

Jeff, no place and I mean NO place takes the Rust Award away from Western NY! We've still got a crust of salt on the roads through July before it finally starts washing away! Last year was some nasty new non-washaway version that's STILL visible in the road cracks.

Great pic! where is that pre-heater tube going?....it looks like it's going to the wheel well instead of a manifold shroud

In the spirit of brians' pic, this has always been one of my favorite vintage racer photos.

I still have one of those somewhere in my shop! We put it in my son's first vehicle, an old Jeep Cherokee. We used to ride through the 'projects' and play Dixie. They didn't take very kindly to that.

Not Pontiac's, but here are a few memorable pics for me. One is of my dad and me, one is of the 1940 Ford he was killed in when I was only 1 1/2 years old, ( It was one of the first one's in our area with a Chevy V8) and the last one is the registration of that car.
