Things are moving along. The doors are buffed out and hung with new handles/locks/weatherstrip. The spoiler is buffed and installed with a new Judge decal. Back bumper is on.. All of the roof trim and rear wheelwell stainless is buffed out and installed.

This is the fun part!

I haven't updated this thread in a while. It has been a slow winter for the old goat, but I am getting back into the swing of things. She turns 40 in a couple of weeks. (04B)

Just in time for summer!

I got my 72 running for the first time in 7 or so years last week. It felt real good!

I am hoping that 2009 will be the year. There is still a lot to do (interior, dash, wheels & tires, windows, wiring), on a very limited budget. We will see.

I, for one, would recommend that you continue to drive and enjoy it in its current condition - minus fenders, hood, glass, etc. I think it would be a big hit on the Hot Rod Power Tour!

I am going to have to confiscate that car for your own safety. Driving with an ear to ear grin could be hazardous to you and other drivers. I can be there tomorrow.

PS, Thanks for posting the new pics and good luck on your quest to be on the road in '09!

Thumbs up Looks grrrreat!!!

Also looks like you are doing it right. Painting it apart is the only way. When you can tell in the pix how good paint looks...it is usually killer in person. I was always partial to the blue decals...but your black looks really good for some reason. Anyway...by all means...enjoy! Take care. Ron

After weeks of sanding and priming on the hood and valance, tonight I shot semi-gloss black on the undersides and also the ram air hood pan. This weekend (hopefully) I will shoot color & clear. Then all I will have left for bodywork is the endura. I can't believe how long this is taking me. There's always so much other stuff going on....

Thanks. I lost my job yesterday after 17 years, so now I have tons of time, but no money to put into the Judge. I'm looking for some paying work now. Somebody send me a frame-off project so I don't have to go back to a crappy job. I'd rather work on musclecars.

I'm very sorry to hear that you've lost your job. Try to stay focused on the positive aspects of your life right now and don't let this weigh you down. What's that country song out right now..."Sound Like Life" ? I heard it for the first time last night and was impressed by the lyrics. I'll be praying that you'll find work soon and this will be a short chapter in your life.

BJ
