Not even on the bay a full day and already at 18500.00. I wonder what the final sale price will be. I know its 1 of 108 but its already at crazy money to me. Who's going to spend the big money and then dump another 25 - 30k in it to bring it back? IDK but if I had the cabbage I would!

Are you planning on sending it to Mexico to get it restored for 25 to 30K? I think it will cost a little more than that to get it restored.

Why is the ad all in Caps? Doesn't the seller know that is considered Internet Rude?

For a convertible car it sure is light on options..column shift automatic? Can't be too many Judges with that set up! Amazing...

there you go bvz i couldnt have came up with a better one. actually i am surprised it jumped up so quickly as i figured people would sit and watch it for a few days. however, it is one of the top 5 cars that people over the years have tried to talk me out of and it is getting very close to meeting reserve.

Jeez cant even make a comment on here without all you so called experts acting like little school girls. I bet ya all have hands like little girls to. If you did your own work you would know that it can be done and done right without spending crazy money. As far as restoring a car like that the original engine is long gone so numbers matching is pretty much out on that one. But maybe some expert out there with a set of stamps will somehow find that engine and reunite it with the car.

Goatnut,

Weranc55 and Telly are both native mexicans, they were just expressing pride in their heritage. Don't be hating on them too hard , man.

see its all done in www. fun
take it like a trooper ang laugh and carry on right back with 'em.
your parts would come from far eastern regions anyway, not southern north america.

2-3 years and 30k you could turn this car into a jewel in all your spare time doing all your own work. i agree.

$45,300

Well said. Agree on the 2 or 3 years and 30k if you can do your own work.

30k would be needed for parts alone. And my hands aren't small.

This car brings me to eleven Judge verts in my collection of PHS's. Here are the color trim specs on them:

Baltimore cars:
-R2 67 (M40 column)
-R2 58 (M20 console)
-T2 68 (M40 column)
-A2 58 (M20 console)
-A1 58 (M20 console)
-A2 58 (M21 console) RA IV
-B2 52 (M40 console)
-T2 58 (M20 console)

Arlington cars
-Q2 58 (M20 no console) no radio
-T1 57 (M20 Console)
-A1 57 (M20 console)

What is interesting is that they are optioned different than you would think, none are heavily optioned and:

None have AC
three don't have posi
only 4 have hideaways
Only 5 have a tach (3 dash and 2 on the hood)
only 6 have power brakes
4 had white stripe tires (no redlines)
only one had deluxe belts (no shoulder)
no am/fm or stereo radios (3 8 tracks)
only one with Power windows and none with power seat or locks

The first one has a ship date of March 20th (VIN matches the date) and the last was in late July. also only 3 CR out of 11 is interesting, but makes sense in that over half of post pattern hardtops were not CR either.

North - great info. Thanks for sharing.

What percentage of your '69 GTO convertibles have hideaways? (judges and non-judges)
