What are the specs of the engine with the results mentioned? Also, what trans and gear?

I'll bump this for you Rich... maybe help your xmas shoppin

nice cam for a 400 that's street driven(anywhere/distance). More than adequate bottom end even for 2.56 gear and comes to power quick to about 5500 before leveling off. Run this cam in wifes 69 Firebird convertible street car(with 2.56 gear 2000+ stall no posi regular ta radial 255/60's) and have gone 13.08/104 still in 2nd gear at @3700 lb race weight and terrible 60 fts in high 2.30's(and worse).
406 ci @ 9.7 compression large valve iron heads(69 #46 converted to large valve screw in stud) with good valve job/port match, stock 1.5 rockers, rpm intake(no spacer)drop base air cleaner (to clear flatter TA hood) with old 3310-1 780 holley, 1.75 super comps, full flowmaster 2.5" duals. MPH good enough for mid 12's or better with traction and better gear/convertor. Very livable performance idle(@15" vac) sound, good mileage 91-93 octane fine even if water temp pushin 200+ on a 95+ day etc.. KRE used to offer a 406 pkg using this cam @12 yrs ago rated at 430 hp same rpm range with similar specs but possibly t2 intake iirc. IMO the Rpm should match power up top (in this rpm range)with better low - mid range with the RPM and think a decent iron with q-jet should be close as well. Again my opinion but I feel this is still the best all around street/strip hyd flat tappet cam for a stockish 400 built at similar compression and running pump premium.
