Paint the color you like.

You cant bank on any financial advantages being there when it comes time to sell, (correct color or not) so may as well enjoy it the way you want it now up until that day.

You didn't waste anytime tearing into that project! Nice, can't wait to see the car this year. we'll have to park the 2 70's next to each other at music in the park! lol

Good luck with the project. Might have to stop by and check it out.

Paul

Summer seems like a LONG ways away... I'm sure I'll see you around town Paul.

We picked up a very decent passenger door and a nearly perfect inner fender today and also the power seat frame that was missing from the car. Also located all the A/C parts I need. The body will be blasted Tuesday...

Well... I love black as a cool color, but I have had black cars, we have a black Mustang GT. It's just so much work to keep them looking good. Believe me, I have been drooling over those pix of black Judges, they look AWESOME. But I've sworn off black cars... I just don't have the patience to keep it up.

Peje, it's now to the point where it is ready for media blasting, which is scheduled for Tuesday. I won't have any pix to share until that process is done with. As for fun progress, it's at that NO FUN stage where the whole car is apart and you discover this and that needs replacing and watch the bill go $$$$$$$$$, but we all know that is usually how these things turn out. I'd never have gone this far if it was a base GTO, but this car to me is worth it, it's a rare combo of options and real Judge so even if I over-spend, the car will have value and I am not doing this to try to turn a buck. I've always wanted a Judge and this is a car I want to keep and enjoy...

Drag racing. An adrenalin rush like no other. It felt like going into combat, tasting your first beer, and losing you virginity, all in about 8 seconds.

It's good and bad. There's some areas where small holes are showing thru now that the old bondo has been blasted out. The floorpan has some areas that I'm not happy about and I have some decisions to make. We also discovered that it took a little shot to the rear passenger 1/4 in the corner, there was a repair that didn't show up previously, but nothing serious. The area around the rear window/trunk that is usually a problem looks fantastic and the car is pretty much what we were expecting. The frame number is correct also, but I guess that's expected...

There will be some rapid progress the next few weeks and it can't be left bare like this for long.
