May 1-2, 2015 Saturday is the show/swap meet Marriott Hotel - I-75 & Windy Hill Road This show/swap meet has been a good one to attend. Lots of nice cars and people. See you there.

Well, its back at the place of the last one of these I attended. That was a long time ago. They usually hold a F-body gathering there, pretty good spot for a car event. Lots of shade.

I've got it on the calendar and scheduled that Friday off work. I hope to drive my Lemans up. The T/A is not ready for such a long road trip yet.
Hmm that gives me a couple of months to get a new top for the car... we'll see if I can pull that off before now and then.

Its a few hours drive for me and my son lives right off Windy Hill Rd- only a couple of miles from the Marriott, if that. So if things go as planned I'll drive up Friday afternoon and spend the night.

Because the Wendy Hill Marriott is pretty much surrounded by big Pine trees, we used to refer to this show as The Pollen Nationals. Pretty impressive that a local show has lasted this long. You have to give the clubs who rotate hosting it each year credit for keeping it going.

Well, it'll be here right away. I was thinking about bringing my car but I've never participated. What would I need to do? What do I need to know?
Up to date fire extinguisher, pay the day-of? Pretty simple right?

Yep, pretty simple. Just show up early and someone will be there to guide you to the registration tent (the location changes from year to year). They'll guide you through the registration process and then show you where to park. Good call on the fire ext. Hope to see you there.

Its a pretty long haul from Augusta but I still plan to be there with my Lemans vert- weather permitting. Watching the forecast and so far, so good.
I didn't get a chance to replace the top on the Lemans but not coming to win an award anyway. I've been focusing all my attention on the TA. Its running really good now, but I am not quite ready to trust it on a long road trip. Maybe next year. How far a drive is it for you Greg? After the years of discussion here really hoping to see your GTO! Walt
