Default Pontiac 453 race motor

The motor is a 1965 421 four bolt main. It was assembled by Kauffman and dynoed at 662 hp with a 950 carb. I added a vacuum pump and 1150 Dominator carb, which probably brought the HP to 700. The motor runs great and recorded a best of 10.10 in the 1/4 mile in a 3,450lb car(without the driver). The motor will only need a vacuum pump and carb. I have a DUI distributor that was on the motor that will be included.

421 block bored to 4.121
4.25 Stoke Eagle forged crank
6.800 Eagle 3D H Beam rods
DSS forged pistons
Comp Cams roller R9+4 275/284 duration .740/.690 lift
Crower 66260 roller lifters
1.50 Scorpion roller rockers
Kauffman 56cc 380cfm High Port heads
Kauffman Northwind intake port matched to heads
Meziere electric water pump
Moroso 7 qt oil pan
Performance Quotient flexplate

The intake has a 4150 bolt pattern. I have an HVH 2" spacer/adapter that I will include with the motor. I will post the dyno sheet. $8,500

I don't have all of the passes logged, but I would say there are 40-50 passes on the motor. The last time made a pass was at the Pontiac Nationals this year.

So the motor went 10.10 in the quarter mile without the driver? Just kidding but that sentence could be read that way. Beautiful engine and it has all of the right stuff in it.

Yes, it could read that way. Lol. I should have said 3,675 lbs with the driver.

The car was an automatic with a 4,000 rpm stall converter. Rear gear was 4.11 and car was foot braked. Here is a link to the car the motor was in:

Thanks,
