I'm pulling the 2.8 out of my 85 Firebird and want to put in a small block chevy motor. Will I need to change the motor mounts and will the 700R4 transmission bolt up?

Thanks

Yes you will.
No it won't.

Get upper and lower mounts for an 85 with an SBC from a yard. You need a V8 spec 700 4r. different bell
