I remember an '82 GP Americana that was a "conversion" car, wasn't put together by Pontiac. It was put out by a group of N.Y. dealers. It had a landau roof, targa band.
Very similar to the GP SSJ, which I have more info on. No, there doesn't appear to be any more value in Americanas, unless you were selling to someone who really knew anything about it (rare). |

well it was made in canada, not a 82 but 86, i seen the article on the 82, is there anyway to find out about how many wewre made in 1986? the driver side americana gran prix emblem is missing, id like to find one

maybe pontiac historical services can help you out .
if you go on there website they should (for a fee) pull up a build sheet plus window sticker and sometimes they even have photos. hope that helps and keep the hammer down!! |
