I`m missing one of the plastic main well tubes. Only remember 1 when I dis-assembled carb. Are they both absolutely necessary? Car is 73 Catalina.

 for the car to run smooth you would want both sides of the carb feeding fuel the same way, so to answer your question: Yes you should have both tubes.
