I'm looking to find out if any of the manufacturers produce or have plans to produce 16" or 17" aluminum rally one wheels. If not in aluminum, perhaps in steel?

I know Wheel Vintiques make a billet aluminum chevy rally wheel....but i think the rally ones look so much nicer, besides being exclusive to the Pontiac GTO.

Thanks,

Anyone that has the repro 15" x 8" or larger rally one wheels on a '65, can you post a picture of your car?

try www.thepartsplaceinc.com if not on the website, request a catalog, they are free and pretty inclusive.

They will fit fine, at least on the rear. I temporarily have a set of them with 275-wide tires on the rear of my car. I don't think they look as nice as the rally1s so i be swaping them out soon for some repro 15x8 rally 1s or maybe some new torque thrusts which are of course aluminum and about the same price in the end.

elefantrider .. can you post a photo of your '65 with the vette rims?? I'd sure like to see what that looks like and if they look cool I may be interested in buying your rims if you go to something else. Thanks... Jim

Here's some work-in-progress pics from a few years ago. I got 15x7s in the back with torque thrust d skinnys in the front. These rims were an option on a bunch of chevy cars besides just vettes. You should be able to find an old set closer to you. The orig. 15x8s are much harder to find, although they probably make them aftermarket now. These rims are really too narrow for that size tire, but i just intended it for temporary use. That's about the biggest tire you can fit in the stock wheel well.

Thanks, rider.... that is what I am looking for to use as a rear racing wheel. I'll check around here and see if I can find some.
