I have a 69 oldsmobile 442 convertible with a modified 455. I have dynomax headers with 3" collectors. I was wanting to replace the exhaust with 3" piping through an x pipe to flowmaster 40 series mufflers reduced to 2 1/2 inch tailpipes so I could still use the original trumpet exhaust tips. Is there anyway this can be pieced together? thanks alot!!

You would need to reduce at the end for the trumpet tips. I don't think anyone makes those tips in 3".

I would order the parts and have your local shop install them. They can modify your mufflers to fit that configuration.
