I have 15x7 Rally IIs on my 68 Bird. Goodyear 235x60 tires

They fill up the wheel well nicely, but I have occasional wheelwell rubbing issues in the front.

I ordered new rims (wheel vintiques) through summit. They should be in any time. They are the 15" with the 4.5BS. I hope to run a 275/50/15 in the back and a 225/60/15 in the front. I looked up the specs to get a tire that would be the same hight. It may be a few weeks before I get them mounted once they show up.
Some people love the 15s and other don't. You definatly get better selection of tires with 15s. Other argue that 14s with the deeper trim ring give it a better look. I belive the stock rallys have a 4BS stock and the 7inch width tends to limit your select to a 245/ or 255/

I also have the 15x7 rally IIs. I run 245/60s in the back and 215/65 in the front. I probably could have gone with 255 in back no problem and 1 size wider in front ok.

I've currently got 15" on my car. 215-65-15 on front and 225-60-15 on back. No issues at all. Looks great in the wells.

I recently put 15" Weld Wheels on my 1969 firebird. I have skinny's up front, 15x3.5" with 165R15 tires. In the rear I put 15x7" rims with 4.5" backspacing. I use a 255/60R15 for street and a 28x9" MT slick for the track. Best of all, the slicks tuck nicely INSIDE the wheelwell without scrubbing and I didn't have to cut or roll the wheel opening lip.

I'm running 215x70x15 up front on 7" rims. I run either a 295x50x15 on 10" 4.5 offset or M/T SS's L60 on 9" 4.0 offset. Need more offset on the rims to pull the tires right under the car but neither pair sticks out at the top lip

You said you're looking for the big 'n little look right?On my 67 I run 15x3 with 26x4.5 front runners and 15x8 with 4.5 backspacing with M/T ET Street 28x12.5-15.They don't hang out or rub.Completely fill the wheel wells.I used to run the stock 15x7 ralley II's with the stock 4 inch backspacing with 215-65 on front and 275-60 on the rear.Looked great, no rubs.
