Any idea how many Liberty Blue Judges were produced? And also Gold ones. I have one of each and don't think I've seen another Gold one anywhere. I'm sure there are others but I don't know how many.

I have seen a breakdown by color for the '70 Judges, but not for '69. I almost bought a antique gold Judge a few years ago. They are out there in just about every color.

There's never been a breakdown for 1970 Judges, just for total GTOs.

Liberty Blue is most likely the second most popular color in 1969 for a Judge. There also was a gold Judge in an issue of Musclecar Classics years ago. I think it was Champagne.

Spartan is right Liberty Blue is the second most popular color for the 69 Judge HT.My research has come up with 411 Liberty Blue cars.You mention a Gold Judge also:Judge HT in Antique Gold-44,Champaigne-1.These numbers aren't one hundred percent correct because I cant predict how many have been distroy,how many are lock away in barn's,garages ect.But these numbers give you a better idea on how rare a Judge is by its color.I hope this helps.

Judge Man, how many Expresso Browns have you found? I think you told me once that it was the third rarest color that you'd found.
Seeing how few Champaignes you've found is surprising to me, I'd thought that you would have come across more. Not that I've seen any...

I started out looking through books and mags,then looking on websites and registry's.Plus I would check out all the club's out there.When ever I came across a Judge I would write the owners name down,where there from and the year and color of the Judge.Writing down the owners name and where they were from was key to my research because there would be the same owner and car in to differant websites or registrys.This would save me writing there name down twice,which you dont want to do.I'm not saying that I have every Judge documented but I have about 70-80% of them on note pads for each year.From there I did a educated guess.Alot of you might disagree with me doing that but the totals I have is better than what we have now which is zero.Like I said before these #'s are'nt correct but it give you a better idea on how much rarer your Judge can be by the color.Through out the years Judge's have changed owners,agian not 100% correct.I did this research for my own knowledge,not to impress or make money from anybody.Someone wanted to know how many 69 Judge's were Liberty Blue,so I responded.People can take it or leave it.I look at it this way it did'nt cost me a dime to get the info I have right now.I'm sure not going to wait for someone to fund PHS to do the research.

I think that I had misunderstood/misremembered what you had said to me before about your numbers.
I was thinking that they were raw numbers, not projected numbers, sorry.
No, I don't disagree with you projecting how many came in each color, you've got the biggest sample that I know of, so you're in the position to make a more accurate projection of the "Total Produced" of anyone.
Until someone can do the research to get the colors of all of the Judges from PMD or PHS all we can do is make projections based on what we know to exist.

Your right, until someone comes up with some concrete #'s it's all an educated guess.It's going to be awhile until someone comes up with the money and man power too fund a project like this.Thats why I decided to do for my own knowledge and reasons.Know if I only had 50-60% of the Judges per year accounted for,I would'nt of done the educated guess.Like I keep saying before these #'s are'nt accurate.
I started doing research on Production #'s on Muscle cars.At the same time I started doing the Judge research,so it took me about 7yrs. to get the info on the colors.Any information is out there you just have to look for it.
