Here is my 68 LeGTO with a 350 /350 I picked up for 2,000. I had it painted Rallys and now working the motor over... Yes it's a LeMans with GTO hood and stickers...lol

Hi,
Here is a side picture of my 68 GTO.
Almost the same exterior color. Mine is Aluetian Blue with a Teal 219 interior.

the front bumper looks like a chrome gto bumper too. the lemans bumper nose comes down more then the gto and the grills do the same.

I dunno ive seen them go both ways. I wonder if the ones that go farther down are tempest ones. My 68 lemans has the same bumper as above.

You guys talking about the center section dropping below the grill openings? That's how you tell '68 and '69 Tempest/LeMans apart, not LeMans and chrome GTO. No chrome GTO grill in '69 that I ever heard of.

The 69 LeMans/Tempests had the drop down nose. The 68 GTO's w/Chrome bumper, LeMans/Tempest had the straight across bumper.

BTW. Nice LeGoat. I'd take the GTO emblem off and leave it a LeMans. Theres nothing wrong with a nice lemans. Don't see them restored as much as GTOs. Adhesive remover will take the emblem off without hurting the paint.
