HI ALL
First time here..
My son and I are trying to install a 73 455 pontiac in our 76 cutlass. I was told on another site to use the lemans (same year) applacation for frame and motor mounts, is this right? Also would I use the same applation for headers or is our best bet Shortys for the applacation.. or just porting the stock manifolds?
Thanks.
Tim

Welcome Tim! Great site with alot of knowledgeable people here. Yes I would use the same year mounts and if you Have to have headers; Id use the normal full length jobbies for like a '73 Lemans/GTO. If your not racing this car; you'll save yourself some time, $$ and headache by just using manifolds and a good 2.5 dual exhaust system. Keep us posted and good luck!
Josh

Thanks Josh
I think your right on the manifolds.. Its not going to be a racer well street anyway you know kids.. Maybe we'll port the manifolds a little. The motor was in his 76 omaga that he broke (bent the sub frame.. darn parking lot cement barrers LOL ) Maybe he'll learn.. NOT...
Thanks again
Tim
