ok i have a 1973 chevy truck with a creat 350 and a TH 350 with a stage 2 shift kit which i got into an accedent with. the frame is bent and may not be able to be reparied. now i also have a 1968 pontiac firebird with a 400 and a TH 400. the tranny said bye to 2 gear and the motor said bye to the #2 con. rod wich put a hole in the block and a twist in the crank. so now a have a truck with no body and a firebird with no motor. so....... i wanted to know what i will have to do to put the chevy motor in the firebird. motor mounts? tranny mounts? drive line?

motor mounts and crossmember and possible driveline issues though mine worked okay. Starter is on other side so wires are different. serious performance issues. I had a 67 with a chev 305. After the 400 went in I was much Happier and now that the 455 is in with nos I am smiling
