I was wondering if the 72 turn signal assemblies are the sme as the 69 Firebird assemblies- Housing, light, lens and bezel?

Thanks
Tim

From what we've able to deduce, 1972 model year cars built prior to Jan 1, 1972 received clear lenses while those built after Jan 1, 1972 received amber lenses.

The 70-71 style clear lens is different than '72. The way the bulb mounts and the shield inside the lens. I believe 69-71 is the same but clear '72 is unique. Amber '72 and 73 are the same.
