what would cause the turn signals to flash normal then after a few seconds start flashing faster also the indicator flashes both sides when you turn left or right thanks wildman.....

Change the flasher first....

If changing the flasher does not work, then look for a short (short to ground may burn a fuse first or short to another lamp most likely)some where. The original bi-metal flashers speed is determined by current, if to much is being drawn (additional load most likely from a short)it will heat up quicker and flash faster. If a lamp burns out (or bad ground) less current being drawn & will flash slower. Good luck.
