Can anyone tell me if they all came with that cool hood? Did the Lemans come with it?I came across a car with this hood not sure if its a GTO or maybe a Lemans Sport Coupe or something. Are these hoods worth anything I can probably get it for next to nothing!!!

All '73 GTO's came standard with the twin NACA scooped hood. The hood was optional however on the LeMans and Grand Am. It was also available on the LeMans GT package, but I'm not sure if it was standard on the GT package.

I've seen 'em go for anywhere from $50 to several hundred dollars depending on condition. Also early hoods ('73-early '74) had vents on the cowl area and later (late '74- '75) didn't have the vents.

Like I said i'm not sure if it's a GTO or Lemans,I believe the car is almost all there less the grill.I think it has a 400,I do remember it has a white int.buckets,console,floorshift.auto.The car is at a small junkyard and covered in about a foot of snow!! Its not going anywhere anytime soon.

Hey Mike! The car is up north from you, about a 16 hour ride.It should still be there it's in a small yard not too many people know about.I'll email you with some more info.it seems along way for 455RM if he is interested in the interior, this is a very small parts yard maybe 100 cars.he's an old guy not even in the phone book,he has just collected some cars over time. It's a self serve deal and I know he won't ship anything. If you want it come and get it.

Good wheel opening trim and bumper rub strips are hard to find.
