Especially someone in the Chicago suburban area?
I need someone who has a timing light, dwell meter, andwho knows how to tune carbs to help me out!!!! I just installed a holley Q-jet replacement and installed it, runs ok, but needs to be fine tuned. |

anyone who works on this vintage car should have those tools or have a mechanic who knows how to do that. For proper carb tuning, you will also need a vacuum gauge and follow the procedure in the service manual, holley website or an aftermarket performance type manual.

sorry, haven't been able to post in a while. I have the timing problem licked, a friend I haven't seen in years stopped by, and he helped me fix it.
Although I still might call ron, I need to get a exhaust manifold gasket changed on the passenger side. BTW, Anyone know the curb weight for a four door 1972 catalina? I cant seem to find it anywhere in my shop manual. |

good, then my four cylinder sonoma can pull my catalina. That will be great on long trips.
